Well, You guys know about title tag in a page (web page) header. And we can add that dynamically based on the technology which we used. Coming to the WordPress, lets do how to add dynamic title tag in WordPress header.

WordPress is one of the best CMS in the web. Mostly it is used because of simplicity, plugins and we can do customisation easily. So, coming to our topic “How to add dynamic title tag in WordPress header?“. It is a simple thing like you need to write or paste a WordPress function in the functions.php file.

Before going to do that, make sure that there is no title tag in your WordPress header file. Why i am saying like this, if you have a title tag (like static title tag), your WordPress function (which you are going to write or paste) won’t work. So, make sure that before going to write the function. Okay, follow the steps to make it easy…

  1. Check your header file if the title tag (Static Title) is there or not. If it is there, remove it.
  2. Now, open the functions.php file, then paste “add_theme_support( ‘title-tag’ );” and Save the code/file.
  3. That’s it. Now check the Source Code of your page or tab name (any page or post). Each every page/post page will get respective title tag (dynamic title tag).
